At Melodic Goals, we’ve been fortunate enough to have experienced the benefits and pleasure from both activities and want to create spaces for others to do the same!

At Melodic Goals, we offer this service in the form of an afterschool program that includes an empowerment-focused music therapy group, with emphasis on social and emotional learning through music, and one specialized activity.

Through this experience, our youth can gain access to affordable music therapy and wellness groups, music lessons, expressive art classes, soccer lessons, and/or muay thai kickboxing classes!

Because why not both?! 

Music therapy sessions utilizes music to support individuals facing cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, physical, medical, or mental health challenges. In sessions, our clinician uses a variety of live and recorded music, various instruments, rhythmic movement, music technology, and sensory and visual aids to help clients achieve their individualized goals and objectives in an individual or group setting. All music therapy sessions are facilitated by a board-certified music therapist.

Schools will be provided one to two classes afterschool weekly. Classes will range from 45 to 60 minutes each. One class will provide students various opportunities to positively engage, reflect, and feel a sense of empowerment through music activities facilitated by a music therapist. The other class can be agreed upon based on the school's preference. For example, a school that elects to incorporate a muay thai kickboxing class will be provided a trained instructor from a local marital arts gym to facilitate that service. As our community partner list continues to grow, Melodic Goals will add more unique activities for students of all ages!

Our team members are early childhood educators, business administrators, board-certified music therapists, teaching artists, and athletic coaches. We welcome all related fields to our team to create a multifaceted company which allows for a range of services to be provided! 

At this time, Melodic Goals accepts cash and checks. If you are low income, please ask about our rates as we aim to work through any financial hardships to make services possible! At Melodic Goals, we believe everyone deserves to receive the support they need to grow.
